Spokane Valley

Back on the horse

Yes, I ride horses. Specifically I ride Miss Zaira who's shown here in last year's Seahawks outfit. I ride horses to de-stress, relax, get some exercise and clear my head, and I've ridden for more than 40 years. Unfortunately I failed to stay on during Miss Z's moment of irrational exuberance in early September, and I had to stay home for a couple of days and a three-day weekend.

While I'm not back in the saddle yet, I am back at work and ready to report on Spokane Valley again, so here goes:

The Spokane Valley City Council will get its first glimpse at the city hall construction project at its meeting on Sept. 15 at 6 p.m. The meeting is public, but public comment will not be allowed as the meeting is a study session. Watch the blog and Thursday's Voices section for a timeline and - hopefully - a date for a meeting where public comment is allowed.
