WilburTheCat on Mosquito fogging in Fairfield
May 17 at 3:39 p.m.
Like the saying goes, you're only as strong as your weakest link.
Just takes one "greenie" who doesn't want their mosquitoes killed and all their standing water, old tires with water in them, buckets where they collect rainwater, etc. will just continue the spread of these annoying creatures to all their neighbors and surrounding property, probably for miles.

Descolada on Spokane Valley Mayor to run for State Rep
April 24 at 4:42 p.m.
They say that Towey tells a lot of jokes. This has got to be the best one yet. Towey as a State Representative. He has been a do nothing Mayor as well as a do nothing council member...part of the so called "Positive Change" group, nothing has been "changed" in Spokane Valley despite the spending of thousands of dollars of TAX PAYER MONEY to tout the city as "business friendly". But yet when Councilman Ben Wick gave the report of a Blue RIbbon panel, commissioned by the Mayor, on how to make Spokane Valley economically viable, the first thing Mr. WIck said is that the City needs a plan. Towey thanked Mr. Wick for making the report and immediately shelved the entire study. So much for "Positive Change". Towey says he will run because he "respects Larry Crouse". Don't we need a representative that will work for the ...
WilburTheCat on Rollover wreck snarls I-90
April 24 at 1:32 p.m.
I suppose there could possibly be something mechanical, like a blown tire or some other cause.
But how in the world does somebody roll a vehicle on a perfectly dry freeway, clear weather, etc.
Texting, chatting on the cell phone, inattentiveness, just plain carelessness?

This overpass would be a DOT addition. Your Evergreen road extension would be a County addition. Good luck with the County ponying up the dough.

I think a more important upgrade would be to have Evergreen extended all the way to Trent.

Nina, it's April 5th and you finally get around to posting information from two days ago!
It's not like we're living in the dark ages. There is a little thing called "technology" you might try using.

Once again, I'm sorry about what I said.
Let' just call a truce and get along.
It was rude, I won't be doing it again.
We all get in bad moods once in a while, Obviously not a good time to be commenting.

Good job taking a decent thread and dragging it totally off topic.
Why does the Spokesman even let you keep posting?

Whatever I said, sorry to insult you.
I won't be responding to your posts any longer.
No more whining, I'll just ignore you instead.

The rude reply wasn't necessary.
I mistakenly thought any felony counted toward a person's three strikes, didn't know there was a certain level of felony that added up.
Next time you may want to help educate fellow readers, not just post snarky, nasty comments.

before you jump in the Waahmbulance and start turning on sirens and lights maybe you ought to, oh you know, KNOW WHAT THE THREE STRIKES LAW IS!??
Most serious offenses. Now, go back and read what this chump did. Figure it out yet, whiner?
You shouldn't even post here if you can't even do basic research or hold enough basic knowledge to not post moronic, empty headed drivel like that. Go to the CDA Press, you'll fit right in.

zelda on Back at it again
February 27 at 12:35 p.m.
And you lived to tell about it. One thing I haven't seen discussed (at least in print) is how the City of Spokane Valley is going to deal with marijuana dispensaries. There's a lot of talk about the city of Spokane plans to handle the issue, but so far nothing from Spokane Valley. This is one of the biggest economic matters to come along since the city was incorporated, so has the subject even been broached?

Nina, thank you so much for desribing the FF's difficult evolution. They train hard for these types of situations and execute as expected.....and they take pride in how they perform.
