Spokane Valley Council budget retreat

This is just a reminder that the Spokane Valley City Council will host their annual budget workshop Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at City Hall, 11707 E. Sprague Ave. The public is welcome to attend the meeting, which will focus on planning and the 2014 budget. I plan to be there, so don't expect any activity on the blog tomorrow.

No council meeting tonight

This is just a reminder that there is no Spokane Valley City Council meeting tonight. It was cancelled in part because this is the fifth Tuesday of the month and also because there really wasn't anything on the agenda. Next week's agenda, however, looks like it should be lively.

Special meeting in Fairfield

The Fairfield City Council has announced a special meeting tonight to discuss engineering credentials for upcoming projects. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at City Hall, 218 E. Main St.

Special meeting in Fairfield

The Fairfield City Council will have a special meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall (218 E. Main). The agenda includes votes on the mosquito fogging contract and sidewalk repair bids as well as a discussion on the location of the town's new recycling dumpster. Apparently some debate has cropped up about where best to put the dumpster.
