“Not my pants” burgler also suspect in game shop crime

It turns out that a burgler allegedly caught in the act of burglarizing a garage yesterday who told police the pants he was wearing weren't his after drugs were found in his pocket is also a suspect in the burglary of a game store that lost nearly $15,000 in merchandise earlier this week. Numerous X-boxes, controllers and games were stolen from the Game On store in the 11800 block of East First. According to a police department press release, Walter W. Young is facing charges of second-degree burglary and first-degree theft for the crime.

Young's alleged accomplice, 25-year-old Coda Archuleta, was arrested Thursday night after the Spokane County SWAT team searved a search warrant on an apartment in the 10100 block of East Main. Police reportedly found weapons in the apartment in addition to most of the items taken from Game On. Archuleta is also facing charges of second-degree burglary and first-degree theft. Reward offered for burglary tips

Crimes Stoppers of the Inland Northwest is offering a reward for information that helps solve a burglary that occurred at the Game On store located in the 11800 block of East First Ave. in Spokane Valley sometime late Monday or early Tuesday. Thieves stole cash and electronics worth more than $14,000. The Spokane Valley Police Department has released an itemized list of the items stolen, including eight X-box gaming systems, 16 X-box controllers, 150 X-box video games, a Toshiba laptop, two X-box external hard drvies and 100 Blue Ray movies.
