Residents in the 12900 block of East Eighth Avenue were awakened this morning just after 3 a.m. by several crashing sounds after a suspected drunken driver hit a power pole and three parked cars before ending up in someone's yard. Both people in the car tried to flee the scene, perhaps because both were wanted on warrants. Reporter Meghann Cuniff has more details here.
