Tree of Sharing update

Yesterday’s Spokane Valley Fire shopping trip at the Valley Mall to benefit the Tree of Sharing was a rousing success. Pictured are some of the 43 firefighters and department employees who picked up 75 gift tags and shopped for local low income residents. The photo is courtesy of the Spokane Valley Fire Department.

Tree of Sharing

I’m told that about 30 firefighters from Spokane Valley Fire will be stopping by the Valley Mall today at noon to purchase gifts for the Tree of Sharing. Every year the trees are put up in local malls decorated with tags listing gifts or needed items for low income families. If you would like to join the firefighters as they give back to the community, head over and get a tag or two for yourself.
