EWU makes strong case for FCS playoff berth

Quarterback Matt Nichols overcame some horrible weather condiditons to throw for 256 yards and four touchdowns as Eastern Washington knocked off Big Sky Conference rival Weber State 38-16 on Saturday to bolster its chances of receiving an at-large berth in the upcoming Football Championship Subdivision playoffs.
