Another game, another hole, another comeback that comes up short.
“My general thought is it’s not a lot of fun right now,” Idaho football coach Robb Akey said after Saturday’s 37-24 Homecoming loss to Fresno State. “They’re giving us all their effort, we’ve got to keep that together. We’ve got to get the execution to start to happen.
“Things like this aren’t going to happen overnight. But as close as we’ve been able to get to some things, that’s the competitior in me and these players, we want make it want to happen right now, impatient world as it is. I’m very adamdant about getting it to happen now. I’m very adamant we’re capable of winning any of the games we play. But if we do the things like we did at times today, we’re capable of not winning those games unfortunately.”
