Running back headed to the Palouse

COUGARS

Some big news on the football recruiting front, and it has nothing to do with a high school senior. James Montgomery, a highly recruited running back when he came out of Cordova High in the Sacramento area, has decided to transfer from Cal to WSU.

Montgomery was in Pullman last weekend and gave the staff an verbal commitment according to the Sacramento Bee. He was one of the fastest running backs in the Pac-10 last season as far as I could tell.
