Chiefs have opportunity to close out series tomorrow
Just call them the road warriors.
Owners of the Western Hockey League’s top road record in the regular season, the Spokane Chiefs picked up 2 of 3 victories on the road last week to take a 3-2 lead in their Western Conference semifinal with the Vancouver Giants.
Spokane can close out the best-of-7 series Monday night when the clubs meet for Game 6 at the Spokane Arena at 7 p.m. If Vancouver forces a seventh game it will be Tuesday night at the Arena at 7.
