As they say, anything can happen - and usually does - when it comes to playoff hockey.
The Vancouver Giants are now behind them and their longstanding rivals ahead of them as the Spokane Chiefs topped the Giants 3-1 to eliminate Vancouver from the Western Hockey League playoffs and advance to the Western Conference final.
