‘Voice of the Cougars’ hospitalized

COUGARS

UPDATED 3:50 p.m.

Only good news has come out of Pullman City Hall ever since I got the bad-news phone call this morning that Glenn Johnson was hospitalized. Below is my unedited brief that should appear in Tuesday’s newspaper.

Also, I’ve got a few Web-only comments after the story.

––––

PULLMAN - Pullman mayor and “voice of the Cougars” Glenn Johnson was in stable condition Monday after being hospitalized for stroke-like symptoms.

Johnson’s blood pressure spiked Sunday evening, landing him at Pullman Regional Hospital’s intensive care unit. He had some short-term memory loss but regained it overnight, said John Sherman, Pullman’s city supervisor.
