Vobora goes to Rams with last pick

Ex-University of Idaho linebacker David Vobora has a new nickname: Mr Irrelevant. He probably hopes it doesn’t last long.

Vobora became the 33rd player to become known as
‘Mr. Irrelevant,’ the moniker given to the last player chosen in the NFL draft. St. Louis, coached by ex-Vandals quarterback and assistant coach Scott Linehan, selected Vobora with the 252nd and last pick on Sunday afternoon.

Two of the last six Mr. Irrelevants are still on NFL rosters _ Ryan Hoag in 2003 and Kevin McMahan in 2006.

Check back later for more.
