Gonzaga improved to 8-1 with an 84-42 win over Texas Southern on Thursday.
The Bulldogs had four players reach double figures — Josh Heytvelt 21, Micah Downs 14, Matt Bouldin 11 and Austin Daye 10. Jeremy Pargo had eight assists, four rebounds and four points.
Texas Southern dropped to 0-10, all 10 games coming away from the Tigers’ home arena in Houston.
Next up for Gonzaga: The showdown with No. 2 Connecticut on Saturday in Seattle.
