GSL makeup games Wednesday

I've been on a week vacation much to my automobile's relief, but Greater Spokane League basketball isn't resting. Lewis and Clark travels to Central Valley for 1 p.m. and 2:45 boys and girls games, University is at Ferris at and Mead is at Gonzaga Prep for games at on New Year's Eve day. These are makeups of snowed out contests of Dec. 19. The day after New Year's the regular schedule resumes.

The Bears boys, unaccustomed to looking up at the pack, needs a win as does last year's regional qualifier University, both hoping to avoid missing out on post-season. The Panthers-Bullpups boys game is the feature between the league leaders and Mead's contenders.

CV-LC girls is a game of interest Wednesday and prelude to Friday's game between the Tigers and Mead who enter this week undefeated.
