Idaho: State girls
You can't win a state championship without winning the first game, so to that end the Post Falls High girls basketball is in good shape.
While there were some nervous moments at the start and the end, the Trojans held up, stopping Highland of Pocatello 54-49 Thursday afternoon at the Idaho Center in Nampa.
Sophomore Katelyn Loper scored a game-high 23 points as she made 15 of 15 free throws. Teammate Jenny McVeigh had 14 points, four rebounds and three blocked shots.
I'll post my game story later.
