At last, the WCC preview and capsules. They’re in unedited, cut-and-paste form below. Space limitations will delay these items and a John Blanchette column from running until Saturday in the S-R.

Also, here’s the week ahead for GU and some WCC notes from our weekly Four Corners college basketball page. Note that Cal State Bakersfield is transitioning to Division I (it was trimmed from the version that appeared in the paper).

And finally, from the Seattle Times, Steven Gray’s sister, Bainbridge High junior Brittany Gray, had 24 points, 21 rebounds, four assists and four steals in a 78-47 win Wednesday night.
