Listened to Mychal Thompson on an afternoon radio show and also on the Lakers’ pre-game show (L.A. plays the Sonics in Seattle). On the afternoon show, he said he had a bad weekend.
His son, Klay, a prep standout, lost his game. Klay’s future team, Washington State, lost to UCLA. And his older son, Mychel, is a freshman at Pepperdine, which lost to Portland on Saturday in Malibu.
