Day-after post on EWU’s big win

Good morning.

I’m not sure how many of you out there made it to the Eagles’ 91-85 overtime men’s basketball win over Northern Colorado at Reese Court on Thursday night, but those who didn’t missed a special performance by an intriguing young player, junior guard Adris DeLeon.

DeLeon, a 5-foot-11 point guard and first-year transfer from College of Southern Idaho, hung 42 points on the Bears – the third-highest single-game total in school history – and seemed to have the time of his life in doing so.
