Day after, Sutton, Memphis

Back with our day-after game post, following the Zags’ 80-70 victory over San Diego on Saturday afternoon.

It will be an interesting upcoming stretch for the Bulldogs. On Monday night they face San Francisco and interim coach Eddie Sutton, who will be trying to become the fifth coach in NCAA history with 800 career wins. GU then has a showdown with likely No. 1 Memphis - North Carolina lost to Maryland - this Saturday in Memphis.

More notes, quotes and links in extended entry below. Come back later this afternoon for a GU-San Francisco preview.
