Vandals win

The Idaho men's basketball team, behind the record shooting of junior guard Mike Hall, earned their second Western Athletic Conference win in the same season under coach George Pfeifer, topping visiting San Jose State 74-63.

Hall made 9 of 10 3-point attempts, breaking the previous record set by Orlando Lightfoot (eight). Lightfoot made 8 of 11 attempts on Dec. 21, 1993, when he scored 50 points in a game at Gonzaga.
