Bulldogs lead 39-22 at break

Gonzaga’s David Pendergraft and Josh Heytvelt combined for 27 points as the Bulldogs took a 39-22 halftime lead against Portland on Monday night.

The Zags scored 11 of the last 13 points to close the half, seven of those coming from Pendergraft.

Portland’s Nik Raivio, younger brother of ex-Zag Derek Raivio, made just 1 of 5 shots and scored 2 points.
