Zag women march into title game, WCC notes
Just went through about 90 minutes of computer torment, but, for the moment, it appears to be working again.
So, here's an update.
First, the men's tourney. No. 4 Santa Clara edged No. 5 San Francisco 51-50 on John Bryant's two free throws with 3 seconds left. The Broncos will face Gonzaga in Sunday's semifinals.
Second, the WCC will hold a press conference at 4:30 p.m. Sunday to announce that it will hold next year's tournament at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas. Also on the agenda: the announcement of a new WCC commissioner.
