Grier signs two, one from J.P.'s high school
Ex-Gonzaga assistant coach Bill Grier has added two players to his program at San Diego. One, Roberta Mafra, a 6-foot-9 forward, played at the same high school as ex-Zag J.P. Batista.More here and here.

Gonzaga is apparently under consideration for the Hall of Fame game (actually a doubleheader) in Indianapolis, along with Notre Dame, Indiana, USC and Oklahoma State. More here.
