Osweiler changes mind, picks ASU football

Gonzaga basketball has lost 2009 recruit Brock Osweiler to football. Osweiler has decided to play football for Arizona State, verbally committing to the Sun Devils and coach Dennis Erickson on Wednesday.

Osweiler, a 6-foot-8 forward at Flathead High (Kalispell, Mont.), committed to GU basketball nearly two years ago.

By the way, Arizona State is 1 for 2 on scholarship offers to GU recruits. You'll recall that Demetri Goodson (point guard in the '08 class) was offered by ASU football last June, but he picked GU basketball.
