Hawaii turns tables on Vandals

A month ago, the Idaho men’s basketball team had no trouble discarding Hawaii inside the Kibbie Dome. But the Rainbow Warriors were a whole different beast at home on Saturday, throttling UI 71-49.

The Vandals’ worst WAC loss of the season coincided with a woeful performance from usually sterling point guard Mac Hopson. He finished with five points, three assists and six turnovers. The Vandals were outrebounded 33-18 and just a mere 1 of 13 from the 3-point line.
