GSL suspense takes suspense out of pairings

Two suspenseful games took the suspense out of the post-season pairings in Greater Spokane League boys basketball. Mead scored at the buzzer to beat Shadle Park and Lewis and Clark scored near the buzzer to beat Rogers.

That means that Mead (11-9) is District 8 4A No. 2 seed behind Gonzaga Prep (18-2) and Lewis and Clark (11-9) is No. 3. Ferris (10-10) and Central Valley (10-10) play each other Monday to complete the field.

Saturday Rogers (8-11) is at Mt. Spokane (7-12) to determine the Nos. 3 and 4 3A positions and who plays Shadle Park (16-4) or North Central (11-9) in district games for regional seeding.
