A couple of notes with four minutes to tipoff.
Senior Micah Downs is expected to start tonight against San Francisco. He lost the starting job to Steven Gray prior to the Tennessee game in Knoxville on Jan. 7, but Gray has struggled in three of the last four games. Gray had just three points against Saint Mary’s, five against Memphis and zero against San Diego. Gray scored 14 against Portland.
Downs had 13 points vs. Memphis and four points and three boards against the Gaels.
Also, the Zags are wearing the black uniforms they debuted on Thursday in Moraga.
