Eags test Seattle before Saturday’s big game against PSU

Eastern Washington will have a difficult time not looking past Seattle University tonight when the two teams square off in a non-conference men’s basketball matchup.

Still, Eagles coach Kirk Earlywine insists he is focused on the Redhawks rather that the Portland State Vikings, who will invade Reese Court on Saturday night for a game that will, in all likelihood, determine EWU’s fate as far as qualifying for the six-team Big Sky Conference Tournament is concerned.

You can read the notes supplied by Eastern’s sports information department on tonight’s game here, and  be sure to check back later tonight for an early read on the unedited game story that will appear in Wednesday morning’s S-R.
