Bty now, it’s more than a trend. The Idaho men have been surprisingly steady at home and woefully inconsistent on the road. Such was the case Thursday night, when the Vandals let a double-digit first-half lead slip away in a 72-64 loss at San Jose State. It was Idaho’s 11th road loss of the season and it came against a bottom-tier WAC team that UI had beaten at home less than two weeks ago.
Missing an inconsistent post presence with Marvin Jefferson struggling and in foul trouble, the Vandals (13-14, 6-7) were outrebounded by a whopping 43-18 margin.
You can read more here. On Saturday, Idaho will take on Fresno State, which upset Nevada Thursday.

I hate to see the team lose these winnable road games. I sure hope they can pull out the FSU game. It would be nice to go into the tourney with a winning record. Of course we are leaps and bounds ahead of where we have been the past several years so I can’t complain too much about the team’s performance too much. Let’s end the season with some wins!
