Links for your Friday morning

COUGARS

A couple of links for your Friday morning, both football related. Read on.

••••••••••

• We’ll start with the link to our Rueben Mayes’ Hall of Fame induction story, which we posted here last night. … From there, we’ll travel to Pullman for this summer Evergreen story concerning players who aren’t returning this fall. Check out our story from Sunday’s S-R and tell me if you see any similarities. New in the Evergreen story are quotes from Romeo Pellum. We talked with Pellum earlier this week and will have a story after we do some more reporting concerning his departure from the team. … One last stop, this with Buster Sports, where Nick Daschel finished up his top 30 Pac-10 football coaches of the modern era recently. And yes, there are WSU names.

• That’s it for this morning. We’re still on Indians baseball duty. We’ll be back if anything breaks. Until then …

Hey Vince, someone the other day was talking about the new bball schedule being partly put together. Do you know what the schedule is looking like or where we could go to find a version of the schedule. And another questions is, do you know what pre-season tourney we’re playing in? And finally, is there any idea on how long Casto is going to be out with?

Thanks for all the coug updates.
