Arizona handing it to WSU 34-0 at half

COUGARS

The halftime score is one thing – the Cougars trail 34-0 – but the health of Jeff Tuel’s right knee is another. The word is he has a slight sprain and it will be evaluated at halftime. It looked a lot worse. He went down midway in the second quarter in the grasp of Xavier Kelley, fumbled and took forever to get up. But when he did, he was hardly limping and walked off on his own. We’ll pass on something if we hear it. As for the game, Arizona has made a lot of substitutions already and the second half could be an extended scrimmage for its second string. We’ll be back with our game report later. Until then …

Double ugh. Awful. I made the mistake of extending the microwave time 20 seconds on my pizza. By the time I got to the TV, I missed the first 13 seconds of the game. Of course, the Cougs were already down 7-0. Man, what a pathetic half. Thoroughly outplayed in every aspect of the game.
