Zags opener; Dower, Stockton slated to redshirt

The Gonzaga men’s basketball team opens the regular season against Mississippi Valley State at 5 tonight at the McCarthey Athletic Center.
The Delta Devils, who return two starters from last year’s 7-25 squad, opened their season against
Gonzaga, which visits No. 2 Michigan State on Tuesday, lists Demetri Goodson, Steven Gray, Matt Bouldin, Elias Harris and Robert Sacre as starters. The Zags plan to redshirt freshman forward Sam Dower and freshman guard David Stockton, according to a school release.
