Zags run away from Delta Devils

Four Bulldogs scored in double figures as Gonzaga opened the regular season with a 92-74 victory over Mississippi Valley State at the MAC on Saturday.

Freshman forward Elias Harris was 5 of 5 from the field and 6 of 6 from the free-throw line before he missed a shot with 16:32 left in the second half. He finished with 18 points. Matt Bouldin scored 17 of his 22 points in the second half. Steven Gray had 16 points, seven assists and five rebounds. Rob Sacre had 17 points and nine boards.
