Not to get too technical and junk, it calculates a six-year graduation rate for college athletic teams – if an athlete transfers in good academic standing, they don't hurt – and compares it to the school as a whole. At WSU, 63 percent of the students graduated in that time, compared to the national average of 62 percent. Among Cougar athletics, the number was 72 percent. Stanford led the Pac-10 with 94 percent and UW was second at 84 percent. The Cardinal also graduated the most football players (85 percent) with WSU fourth at 58 percent. ...
