Eags win wild one, keep playoff dreams alive

Eastern Washington University rolled up a hugh halftime lead over Northern Arizona in Flagstaff on Saturday, but needed a late touchdown to turn back the Lumberjacks 49-45 and keep their FCS playoff hopes alive.

You can read the game story supplied by EWU's sport information office here, and you can take a look at what NAU's sports info folks said about the game here.  I was covering a high school football game on Saturday and didn't get to listen to the Eags on the radio, but I'll be tuned in to Sunday's FCS playoff selection show, which will be televised at noon on ESPNews.

I will also post a story on how the committee treats Eastern as soon as possible after the playoff brackets are revealed and update it with comments from Eagles coach Beau Baldwin and his players as soon they become available.
