WSU player arrested

COUGARS

WSU is out practicing and there are a few players missing. Read on for news about one.

••••••••••

• We did our attendance today and noticed sophomore Kevin Norrell wasn’t at practice. It turns out Norrell, who was sick last week, was arrested after 3 a.m. by the Pullman police for, to quote from the police blotter, “DUI AND Reckless Driving AND Criminal Trespassing 2nd Degree AND No Valid Operating License without ID,” (I cut and pasted directly from the police blotter). Also, redshirt freshman linebacker Joshua Garrett was cited for minor exhibiting at the same time. Norrell has been suspended. We’ll try to have more after practice.

So Norrel misses the game because he is sick, and then is out getting drunk and arrested two nights later? Sounds like he really cares about winning.

Wulff needs to start punishing some of these kids, he has been way too light on his punishments.

New recruiting tool: “Come too WSU you may have a chance to play right away our needs are great. Even if you aren’t a starter right away, chances are good the depth chart could change at any given late night arrest.” Get it cleaned up Coach, I know we are trying to clean up the program. Lets require IQ tests to become a WSU athlete?

We burned Gino Simone’s red shirt, if Kevin Norrel can’t figure it out, so be it.

Vince can you ask about the 2011 Hawaii game that was dropped and who they plan on replacing it with to make up for the breach of contract fee on $300,000.00.

I hope we did not drop a winnable game, to go get routed by another Auburn or Wisconsin type matchup.

i am so pissed about Norrell. MIP is one thing but that many charges? And he was supposedly to sick to play the f%#%ing game?

Im not liking this one bit. I cant stand hearing about our “improvement” so far, folks we still got beat by 26 points, i guess thats better than being beaten by 58….but not really. And then the arrest?, i thought we were past that but apparently no. Im all for second chances but holy crap, this is ridiculous, at this point a good majority of the team is on their “second chance”. Losing confidence daily………

just read they booted him off the team……
