Idaho preps this week

TONIGHT: The third annual 'Volleyball 4 The Cure' volleyball match, featuring Post Falls at Coeur d'Alene, is at 7. About $4,700 was raised last year for breast cancer awareness.

THURSDAY: The Coeur d'Alene and Lake City girls soccer teams face off under the lights at LC, beginning at 6. LC's boys are at CdA at 4:30.

FRIDAY:  A couple of interesting non-league football games are on the schedule. Unbeatens square off when 5A Coeur d'Alene (3-0) visits 4A Sandpoint (3-0) at 7. In a battle between in-district teams, 3A Timberlake (1-1) visits 4A Lakeland (1-2).

In other games Friday, Post Falls (2-0) travels to Eagle (1-1), Lewiston (1-1) is at Pullman (0-2), Clarkston (0-2) goes to Moscow (3-0), Priest River (2-0) visits Freeman (0-1), Newport (0-1) goes to Bonners Ferry (1-0-1), Kellogg (0-2) is at Kamiah (1-1) and Lake City's JV is at St. Maries (0-2). In North Star League matchups, Wallace (1-1) visits Lakeside (2-1) in the first of two games that will decide the league's 1A Division I playoff berth and Mullan (1-1) is at Kootenai (3-0, 2-0). Lake City and Clark Fork have byes.
