Time to question Chiefs

We have an opportunity for Chief fans to get some questions answered.

Spoke to general manager Tim Speltz this week, hoping to wrap up the recently completed Western Hockey League season and look ahead to next year. That, however, will have to wait.

“I always want to give it a little time,” Speltz said. “You have to get over the numbness of being done before you can objectively assess the situation.”

That means next week. Since I’ll be out of town at a wedding (and hanging around to watch the Mariners’ home opener Monday afternoon), you have the opportunity to pose questions I can ask Speltz. I’ll check those out before we connect on Tuesday or Wednesday.

One more thing, the NHL season ends this weekend. I expect Drayson Bowman to get sent back to the minors for the playoffs and Jared Cowen might play Saturday with Ottawa. Any news you see, please share while I’m away.
