Jones healthy as Eags open fall camp

I’ve returned from Eastern’s first fall football practice and, as promised, I have posted this link to the story that will run in Tuesday morning’s S-R.  I also got my first in-person look at the red turf that is being installed at what will soon be known as Roos Field, and I like it.

But please consider I am red-green colorblind — a condition that was first noticed when I was four years old and playing “I Spy” with a favorite aunt.  I stumped her while spying on something “red,” and after she gave up I told her it was the grass.
