Gray, Durfey out of the money

Ryan Gray of Cheney finished out of the money in the first round of the bareback riding competition at the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas on Thursday night. However, Gray still has the lead in the World standings, which is based on money won during the season.

Tyson Durfey of Colbert fell from seventh to ninth in the standings after finishing out of the money in the first round of tie-down roping.

The NFR runs for 10 days.
