Vandersloot, Loper honored, EWU game changed
News today is shocking, I tell you, shocking. After averaging more than 30 points a game in easy road wins over the two supposedly best teams in the Big Sky Conference, Gonzaga senior Courtney Vandersloot is the West Coast Conference Player of the Week.
Enough of the sarcasim, there is real news for you. Eastern Washington's game on Saturday against D-II Saint Martin's, which features a quartet of local players, has been pushed back to 7 p.m. because of the Eagles football playoff game.
Also, Hofstra freshman Kate Loper (Post Falls) honored again.
