A taut, back-and-forth contest swung in San Jose State's favor late, as the Spartans nipped Idaho 78-75 in WAC men's basketball action. There were 28 lead changes and 12 ties in the game. Mac Hopson and Steffan Johnson again flourished offensively for UI -- combining for 34 points -- but the Vandals were troubled by poor second-half rebounding and missed free throws. "They out-rebounded us 18-8 in the second half and that was really the difference in the game," Idaho coach Don Verlin said.
