Thursday prep page

A few things to link to here. Click the tab below.

Robby Douglas of Shadle Park is pictured above.

First, thanks for being patient. We’re making the transition from two prep writers to one now that Mike Vlahovich has retired. We’re treading in different water (and I don’t swim well as it is!). But we’re going to make this work in time. I’ll have lots of help from my teammates from season to season.

So as I continue to learn a new landscape, here’s the menu for today’s prep page:

A feature on Shadle Park senior hoops standout Robby Douglas.

My column about Rogers High School bracing for move back to 4A.

A notebook with a look at how GSL and 5A IEL basketball teams fared head to head.

A roundup of wrestling and basketball results, including Central Valley/Ferris grapplers.

Here’s a link to the first Associated Press boys and girls basketball rankings (Rene Ferran of the Tri-City Herald posted them on his blog). I’ll try to figure out how to link to them on our site at some point.

Below, I cut and paste the Idaho boys and girls media basketball rankings. I’ll try to figure out a better way to this as well in the future.
