WSU falls to Cal, 93-88
COUGARS
Cal had one run too many. The Bears sprinted in front early, had to do it again to start the second half, then held off WSU for the victory. The Cougars defense let them down, as they couldn't get stops when they needed to. They especially couldn't control Jerome Randle who, with 3:44 left, had hit more 3-point shots than WSU had as a team. He finished with more than 30 points. Once again, Klay Thompson struggled with his shot, missing many attempts short. We'll be back in about 90 minutes with our game story.
