Shock hold steady at No. 2

For the third straight week Spokane is No. 2 in the AFL coaches poll. Jacksonville stayed in the top spot. Milwaukee is No. 3, followed by Arizona.

UPDATE: On the expansion front, San Jose, one of the league's most successful franchises, is returning to the AFL. The SaberCats would provide another western opponent (along with Utah and Arizona) for the Shock. Philadelphia announced earlier this week that it intends to return to the AFL in 2011.

Milwaukee and Arizona both received first place votes after winning home games at their respective arenas in Week 10. Milwaukee and Chicago are set to meet for the second time this season, and Chicago is looking for redemption and a chance to move to the top of the Midwest Division. The Arizona Rattlers are the only team in the top five with just six wins and will face Bossier-Shreveport this weekend.

The top seven teams all had victories this week, an indication that the competition is heating up. Four teams have now won seven games with seven weeks still remaining in the season.
