Gonzaga jumps out to 16-point lead

Gonzaga scored the first eight points of the game and didn't let off the throttle. The Bulldogs, behind Steven Gray's 14-points and four assists and significant contributions from reserves Manny Arop and Bol Kong, moved in front 41-25 against Loyola Marymount at half.

Gonzaga made 13 of its first 17 shots and finished the half 16 of 28 (57.1 percent). LMU was just 8 of 25 (32 percent), committed eight turnovers and didn't have an assist.

Gray took a hard fall on his side when he bit on Drew Viney's pump fake, but he returned after a rest of less than two minutes. He made 5 of 7 shots and 3 of 4 free throws. Arop added four points and six rebounds. Kong had a pair of three-point plays and an assist. Demetri Goodson added five points and four rebounds as GU leads the latter category 18-13.

More at the final buzzer.
