I know this is a little later than usual but ... heck, no excuses. It's just late. We have some links and notes so read on.

• So, it looks like the now No. 22 Washington State Cougars (31-18, 14-10 in the Pac-10) will be headed to the baseball version of the big dance (Baseball America rankings here). Where they'll go and what they'll be seeded is still up in the air. They go to Gonzaga tomorrow night, host Portland on Wednesday then head to Los Angeles to face No. 7 UCLA (41-11, 16-8) in a three-game series starting Friday. Monday morning, the NCAA announces the tournament field. ... The thought right now is that the Cougars will be a No. 2 seed and, because they were switched out of Southern California last year at the last minute to accommodate ESPN, which wanted to televise Steven Strasburg, they'll head to No. 8 Cal State Fullerton (37-15). ... We were at Bailey/Brayton yesterday and here's our story. We posted the story on the blog last night. ... CougCenter has put together a football-recruiting site that highlights all the 2011 commits. ... Ted Miller has his final A-list position battle and it concerns WSU's running back situation.
