The NAIA Raiders lost their exhibition opener to NCAA Division II Humboldt State 74-51 on Tuesday.
Sophomore forward Elias Harris (shoulder), Gonzaga’s top returning scorer, is not expected to play. Freshman wing Mathis Monninghoff (ankle) could see action.
“This is a hard time for these players, the first 2-3 weeks of practice, long practices, physical days,” head coach Mark Few said. “I’m sure they’re chomping at the bit to play somebody else.”
