Gonzaga cruises in exhibition

Gonzaga thumped NAIA Southern Oregon 90-58 on Friday in the Bulldogs' exhibition opener at the McCarthey Athletic Center.

Steven Gray and Sam Dower each scored 17 points. Demetri Goodson added 12 points, seven rebounds and three assists. Robert Sacre finished with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Kelly Olynyk chipped in 12 points and nine boards.

Gonzaga shot 52.3 percent from the floor. GU had five second-half turnovers to finish with 17.

Kyle Tedder led Southern Oregon with 20 points, 16 coming in the first half.
